Meet the Doctor

Dr. Faye Andrews, Optometrist

Dr. Faye Andrews is committed to providing the very best in eye care to the residents in the Warrior, Morris, Kimberly, and other areas of northern Jefferson County, as well as Hayden, and other west Blount County areas. Dr. Andrews has lived in the Hayden community of Blount County for over twenty years. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UAB in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Dr. Andrews opened Warrior Eye Care in February 1994, and moved to it’s current location in August 2002.  Dr. Andrews is certified in providing post-operative care for the refractive surgery patient as well as being certified by the Alabama Board of Optometry in Contemporary Ocular Therapeutics. She has extensive experience with the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and cataracts, and is able to utilize state of the art technology in the testing and screening for these conditions. Additionally, Dr. Andrews is certified in corneal molding, and has a large contact lense practice.

Dr. Parissa Dudley, Optometrist

Dr. Parissa Dudley has been practicing optometry in the Birmingham area since 2004.  She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2004 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in Zoology where she graduated Cum Laude in 2000.  Dr. Dudley owns Dudley Eye Care in Bessemer, and started working part-time at Warrior Eye Care in 2014.  Dr. Dudley is certified by the National Board of Optometry Examiners in the  Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.  Dr. Dudley was nominated in the Birmingham Parent Magazine as a Birmingham Parent’s Favorite Kids’ Doc in 2014.  She is active in the Birmingham Junior League, the Birmingham Area Optometric Association, and the UAB Optometry Alumni Association.
